What is EurEta?

The European Higher Engineering and Technical Professionals Association (EurEta) is the leading organization in Europe for higher engineering and technical professionals belonging to the level D of the EU 2005/36 Directive on professional qualifications (level 6 of EQF). In the future there will be an option to add separate Registers for other levels.

A non-profit organization

EurEta is a non-profit, non-political organization established in 1993 to set formation standards for higher engineering and technical professionals across Europe, to represent these professionals and their official national organizations at European and worldwide forums and to keep a European Register. Full membership is open to registered or regulated organizations and public bodies comprising and representing engineering professionals recognized at Level D in the pertinent EU Directive. Members in Development are also welcome in EurEta. They are registered or regulated organizations and public bodies representing engineering professionals who are not yet in a position to fulfill all the obligations of a Full Member. Anyone wishing to support the international active vocation and work of EurEta can apply to become a Supporting member.
