What is EurEta?

EurEta is…
the leading organisation in Europe for higher engineering and technical professionals.
It is a non-profit making, non-political organisation established in 1993 to set formation standards for higher engineering and technical professionals across Europe. The National Members of the Association form its General Assembly, which is the supreme policy-making body. This in turn is supported by a Board a Policy committee and a Registration Committee. Individuals are can be nominated for registration by a National Member.

EURETA REPRESENTS THE HIGHER QUALIFIED ENGINEERS IN EU-ORGANISATIONS IN BRUSSELS

EurEta represents both the interests of national roof federations and non-academic practice-oriented engineers inside the European Union as well as other bodies, institutions, who actively carry out public works.

EurEta is the roof organisation in Europe of the national members representing the higher qualified engineers. It will work according to a uniform European-wide professional qualification and for fair occupation titles, which correspond to the European Union 2005/36/EC Directive , in particular to level four.

EurEta substantially contributes to the intellectually trained application orientated engineers in the framework of their own and salient profile. It looks for proper promotion and optimal communication.

EurEta’s activity is aligned to the international acceptance of their members. It closely co-operates with EU’s major pertinent bodies and members.

5 EurEta aims at constantly operating on a uniform and professional transparency and independent position of the higher educated engineers. On this base, EurEta represents these engineers within ministries of education, EU political committees and EU-programs on national and international level, as well as in the public.
6 EurEta looks for uniform quality of the national members (pertinent organisations, member schools and institutions). It does so according to the European Union’s orientation as well as to other international standard.

EurEta aims at realising the best integration of the higher engineering professionals at industrial levels as well as of the higher schools of engineering in the far developing European university scenario.

EurEta works in co-operation with other European Union organisations and institutions for education on the Level four according to the EU 2005/36/EC Directive. It appeals to its good international relationships with politicians, companies, organisations as well as of schools of pertinent level; further more, EurEta supports the exchange of professional engineers, professors, teachers and students.

EurEta promotes the engineer development and supports the national members with the fulfilment of its order for achievement. It aims at realising a European-wide cross-linking by mutual information and documentation as well as project-related co-operation.

EurEta supports the principle of the autonomous national professional associations and their guidance according to effective principles.

11 EurEta co-operates with other European Union-oriented institutions in the pertinent field. It complements the lover stages and co-operates with the institutions of the appropriate level.
