Code of Conduct
EurEta Registered Engineers shall abide at all times by the EurEta Code of Conduct:
- They are conscious of the importance of science and technology for humanity and the environment and of their own responsibility in their professional activities.
- They shall, in their behaviour and competency, guarantee the honour, dignity and reputation of their profession.
- They shall commit themselves to continuing professional development in order to keep up with scientific and technological progress as well as the general development of human society.
- They shall commit themselves to uphold the best interest of their professional institution and EurEta.
- They shall safeguard the public interest in matters of safety, health and social matters.
- They shall keep the business confidentiality of their customers or employers and safeguard their respective interests.
- They shall encourage the continuing professional development of those that work with them and/or they are responsible for.
Acknowledgement of national formation systems
The acknowledgement of a specific national formation is requested by the respective National Member, examined by the Registration Committee and approved by the General Assembly.
