Zappalà speech at the board meeting in Sicily

Within the newly elected European Parliament, MEP Stefano Zappalá is not only the Vicepresident of the Commission for Justice and Internal Affairs but he still is the Rapporteur for the Directive for Professional Qualifications for which he used to be already in charge during the previous mandate.

During Eureta´s Board meeting in Taormina (Sicily) from 21st to 24th October, we have had the honour and pleasure to meet him. With his Sicilian warm-hearted passion, his strong and sincere commitment for Europe jointly to his high and deep experience as engineer and European actor at the same time, he has shared with us the necessary, difficult but enthusiastic and promising European integration process, he has illustrated to us the fundamental principles of the philosophy of the EU´s political architecture in all sectors, namely the engineering sector, where highly professional people carry out their activity in a scenario which moves and changes very fast, a scenario where security and innovation are unceasingly on the agenda and where competence is therefore factor number one.
